Connect to Gas pre-qualification code: Natural gas furnace, boiler or combination heating and hot water system

To qualify for Connect to Gas rebates you must obtain a pre-qualification code before submitting your rebate application.

Note: your pre-qualification code is non-transferable and cannot be given to another FortisBC customer. If you cannot get a pre-qualification code online, call us at 1-855-909-2329 for assistance.

To qualify for a $2,000 rebate, you must switch your existing oil or propane primary heating system and purchase and install an eligible ENERGY STAR® natural gas boiler or furnace. Eligible natural gas boiler or furnace AND a natural gas water heater - $2,800 rebate
To qualify for a $2,800 rebate, you must switch your existing oil or propane primary heating system and purchase and install an eligible ENERGY STAR natural gas boiler or furnace AND a natural gas water heater. Eligible natural gas combination heating AND hot water system - $2,800 rebate
To qualify for a $2,800 rebate, you must switch your existing oil or propane primary heating system, and purchase and install an eligible ENERGY STAR natural gas combination heating and hot water system.
Additional offers

Additional offers Eligible natural gas fireplace - $250 rebate
To qualify for a $250 rebate, you must purchase and install an eligible natural gas fireplace, in addition to purchasing and installing an eligible natural gas boiler, furnace or combination heating and hot water system. Bonus rebate - $1,000
You must install the upgrade(s) between April 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025, and comply with the bonus offer terms and conditions.

To receive your rebate, please agree to the following: I will have a gas contractor licensed with Technical Safety BC install my heating or my heating and hot water system. I will submit the completed online application form, on the program page, with all supporting documentation within 90 days of the paid invoice date. Learn more with our how-to-guide. I will comply with the program terms and conditions and bonus offer terms and conditions. I acknowledge that a pre-qualification code is valid for a period of two years as of the date it was issued.
