We’re offering funding to FortisBC commercial direct-billed electricity customers for the installation of level 2 electric vehicle (EV) chargers at eligible commercial properties. The program offsets the upfront costs of installing EV charging infrastructure, making it easier to own and charge EVs. Applicants can apply for a FortisBC-funded contribution of $1,920 per level 2 EV charger, capped at seven chargers per site. Eligible commercial properties include multi-unit residential buildings (MURBs), workplaces (employee-owned EVs) and fleets (employer-owned EVs) that are FortisBC commercial direct-billed electricity customers.
