A pre-approval letter from FortisBC, obtained prior to purchasing and installing your EV charging station(s), is required to be eligible for EV charging station rebates.

Before you begin, please make sure you have all of the following documents:
Contractor Installation Form

Contractor Installation Form A copy of your completed Contractor INSTALLATION Form signed by your licenced electrical contractor
Itemized invoice/receipt - EV charging station

Itemized invoice/receipt - EV charging station A copy of your paid itemized invoice/receipt for the purchase of an eligible EV charging station (must include applicant’s name, the charging station’s Canadian retailer name, product make and model, purchase date and invoiced price)
Itemized invoice/receipt - Installation

Itemized invoice/receipt - Installation A copy of your paid itemized invoice/receipt for the EV charging station installation
Authorization & Declaration/Certificate of Inspection

Authorization & Declaration/Certificate of Inspection Evidence of an electrical inspection for installation of the EV charging station; this can be a Electrical Contractor Authorization & Declaration of Compliance affidavit or a Certificate of Inspection issued by the appropriate authority (i.e. municipality or Technical Safety BC)
Itemized invoice/receipt - Electrical Inspection Costs (if applicable)

Itemized invoice/receipt - Electrical Inspection Costs (if applicable) A copy of a paid invoice or receipt itemizing electrical inspection costs if applicable
